3 NEW
Three new Off-Broadway shows — no new Broadway, because there wasn’t any.
Petite Rouge by Company XIV (100207) at Théâtre XIV in Bushwick — a 164-seat baroque-burlesque house that was not in theaters-master.json until this run, now added with its capacity sourced. Running since February, closes Oct 31. · One! with Jim Rash (100209) at SoHo Playhouse, Sept 22–28, an improvised one-man show. · Parcel from America (100211) at Theatre Row — Theatre Three, an Irish Christmas musical, previews Oct 28, opens Nov 4. All three D1-native, Yoast 7/7 verified on re-read, live /product/ pages returning 200, titles and meta descriptions confirmed on the rendered page.
FIXED
Yesterday’s poster “upgrade” on 8112 swapped one placeholder for another.
In Honor of Jean-Michel Basquiat still reads as a placeholder by the pHash guard. Its stored image is the NYTG asset NORAM_480x720.jpg, upscaled and uploaded yesterday under a real-sounding filename — and that source asset returns True from the same looks_like_bitc_placeholder() guard the Pinterest and Instagram publishers defer on. viable() graded it accept (“flat art, round-trip loss 46”) because it only measures aspect and upscale sharpness, never whether the candidate is itself a coming-soon card. It was not re-uploaded today, and the gap is closed: _try() in upgrade_placeholder.py now runs the shared guard on the chosen bytes and demotes any candidate that is itself a coming-soon card to reject. It sits in _try() rather than in viable() because viable() only measures aspect and upscale loss, and because inside the upgrade path rejecting a placeholder can never cost us a better image. Measured after the change: 8112 now prints reject — candidate is itself a coming-soon placeholder where it printed accept before, and 100063’s real key art still resolves to borderline. Prior file snapshotted; rollback is a single file copy. Open question, not settled: whether the guard is over-matching on that NYTG asset was not determined — the image could not be viewed because the device mount refuses to stage files this session wrote — and if it is, the same threshold is inflating the 60-placeholder count.
1 FIX
One TodayTix rush added under A9; zero accuracy fixes owed.
Offer: Petite Rouge carries a live $39 TodayTix rush — rushSettings.rushPrice $39, “incl. $8 fee” — and had no lottery_options entry at all, so it is an ADD, not a price change. Snapshotted, written via WC REST, confirmed in D1, and confirmed rendering on the live page. · Dates and tags: the drift audit returned 29 closing-date rows and every one has a future end date — no PAST-NO-CLOSED-TAG rows existed, so no Closed tag was owed. Titanique (9/20) and Shifters (9/20) each re-verified against two sources. openStillUpcoming is 0: yesterday’s seven stuck Upcoming tags are cleared. closedStillOffering 0. Yoast: C.3 changed 1 of 264, and that one is this run’s own rush add moving Petite Rouge from the RUN bucket to RUSH — not a Part A miss.
SOCIAL
Two of three posted everywhere; the third was deferred on purpose.
Instagram 2/2, Facebook 2/2, Reels 2/2 on both platforms, Pinterest 2/2 pins. One! with Jim Rash was deferred by the placeholder guard on all three channels — the only vertical art that exists advertises the Los Angeles Monday residency, not the September SoHo Playhouse week, so a wrong poster was the alternative. It retries automatically once real art lands. Parcel’s IG reel container came back “still transcoding” then 400 on first resume; the saved creation_id resumed and published with no rebuild. Stories staged 0 — still disabled in the reel runner.
IMAGES
60 placeholders of 264 published; one upgradeable, and it was upgraded.
Every published featured image was fetched and byte-tested this run — 0 missing, 0 broken. Here There Are Blueberries (100063) upgraded from NYTG key art: borderline at round-trip loss 125, which the 2026-09-10 three-tier rule counts as an upgrade for a product that is currently a placeholder. Verified after upload — 800×1200 and the guard now returns False on the stored bytes. The other 59 were probed across NYTG, Playbill, TodayTix and imaging.broadway.com; all ten RUN-bucket placeholders came back with nothing or ComingSoon-only assets. The Pinterest backlog (47 remaining) is now the same population, so the two halves of the pipeline finally agree.
CARRY
Carry-forward, each recorded once rather than re-reported daily.
poster-alt-not-persisted-d1 — unchanged; today’s upload set an alt and the re-read returned None. · placeholder-no-art-one-with-jim-rash and placeholder-no-art-run-bucket-ob (the ten RUN-bucket shows as one set). · the-pass-stale-operator-listings — 7934 is correctly Closed per Playbill; NYTG’s price line and a TodayTix rush row are both stale, and this is the last write-up. · Six unresolved discovery candidates in b4-candidates.json, including Drunk Dracula, which is blocked only because no source states The Ruby Theatre’s seat count.
